Dozens of colourful

space hoppers bobbed up and down on Trearddur Bay Beach as dawn broke on New Year's Day, their riders braving the chilly January waters in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The unique event was captured in stunning detail by JD Media Film's drone team, who hovered overhead, drawing crowds of bleary-eyed onlookers still wearing their party hats from the previous night's celebrations.
The aerial footage revealed a mesmerizing pattern of bouncing figures - some in fancy dress, others in wetsuits - as they hopped their way into the surf. From JD Media Film's bird's-eye perspective, the space hoppers created a vibrant mosaic against the golden sand, with participants ranging from teenagers to grandparents, all bouncing in unison for the cause.
Local RNLI volunteer, who organized the event, beamed as she watched JD Media Film's footage afterward. "We wanted something different from the usual New Year's Day dip, and these incredible drone shots have given us amazing content for social media. I think we've started a new tradition!"
The event concluded with hot chocolate and bacon sandwiches for the participants, while JD Media Film's operators pieced together their aerial footage into a heart-warming video that quickly went viral on local social media channels.
